It was good to see so many people at the ALAO Annual Conference last week! The DLIG-sponsored session “Rethinking our LibGuides to Engage Our Students: Easy DIY LibGuide Usability Testing and Redesign That Works” presented by Terese DeSimio and Ximena Chrisagis was great! They did a great job and there were just under 100 people in attendance!! Also, thanks to all who stopped by our booth and chatted. We will be in touch soon. Excited to have more volunteers!
Save the Date: Our Spring Workshop will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Voice of America center in West Chester (just north of Cincinnati). Plan to attend–it’s going to be awesome!!
Distance Learning Visionary Award: We are now accepting nominations, so send us some info about librarians you know who are working on Distance Learning initiatives. (Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged!) More information about the award can be found on our Distance Learning Visionary page. Nomination deadline is December 19th.
If you have questions about DLIG, or would like to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact us! We’d love to chat with you! Contact information for the co-chairs is listed on the right-hand side of the page, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
